Lymphoid follicles lie continuous with the PALS. In lymphoid follicles, the central artery lies peripherally. A germinal center inside the lymphoid follicle appear only after antigen presentation. Lymphoid follicles are composed primary of B lymphocytes, entrapped in a network of follicular dendritic cells.
